Set in a beautiful calm location next to a river. Newly renovated spacious stylish and clean room. Very good beer they sell on site and delicious baked goods. Deb was especially nice and helpful and made our stay so enjoyable. Recommend!

We had an amazing stay at the Amherst Inn. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to downtown and plenty of great restaurants. The property itself is beautiful, and the breakfasts were wonderful. They make delicious custom omelets with your choice of fresh ingredients.

    This place is magical and especially so in autumn and winter I believe. It has been recently renovated so it looks modern but is nevertheless very cosy. We had a view on the river and could hear the water from the nearby small waterfall, which was very soothing. We got a warm welcome upon arrival too! Breakfast the next day was excellent too, the cafe is open to all, so go and try the amazing biscuit sandwich: you won't regret it! There is wide parking space and several dining options nearby. I hope we will stay there again in the future!
