It’s atmosphere, history, authenticity, the room, the staff and breakfast! We also liked the view from the 8th floor, the convenient parking lot and beer at the Bullfrog Brewery just opposite the hotel. This hotel is a time capsule. You can feel it’s past greatness, the roaring 20’s, the buzzling 50s with Gene Kelly and all great people of art, science and politics.
