Beautiful old home that is not a well appointed boutique hotel in excellent surroundings. The staff were exceedingly helpful, thoughtful and friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent. Breakfast was perfect too.

We stayed three nights with Liz and Carlo. I don.t say Villa Puccini, because they give you a warm welcome, they are always available when you need some advice like restaurants, interesting places to go and above all Liz and Carlo are extremely kind and gentle. Always in for a talk, if necessary with a grappa. The house and the rooms are beautiful, very quiet at night, and the description on their website and booking is correct. This is one of the first places in our lifelong travelling that felt so beautiful and Liz and Carlo felt like friends we knew for years. So warm, so kind, so beautiful. This is the reason why we like travel, meeting people like Liz and Carlo. On the practical side : breakfast with very fresh ingredients from the garden, very good fruitsalad, evrything you can expect from a continental breakfast. Taste the homemade cookies ! Secure parking on the grounds, quiet neighbourhood, easy access to restaurants. Book it !

If this booking is available you must take it! We had a lovely time staying with Sue. Every morning we had a fresh breakfast of fruit, yogurts and filter coffee, rusks were topped up, cereal options, milk and home baking popped in throughout the day. The room was cleaned daily to a really high standard and every thing was beautifully clean. Sue also provided really nice shower options - dove! and she did our washing as we were staying after a week of already being away. Every time we caught paths she chatted away and was incredibly friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend staying with Sue more - we will definitely be back!

Hostess is very helpful and lovely, house is equipped with what you need for busy business trips and well priced, rooms are comfortable, bed is amazing! Lovely bathroom, fresh milk for tea in the morning which is a big plus for me 😊. Easy access and well located. Uber finds it easily and Mr D delivers dinner quickly.
