This was by far a standout overnight stay for us in a magnificent hotel with the most beautiful view of the castle. We were upgraded us to a castle view free of charge which was unexpected but wonderful. A W3 shuttle was also ordered for us in the morning as we couldn't contact them on arrival but thankfully had kind local drive us up to the hotel.

Family-run since 1654, Hotel-Gasthof Maria Plain enjoys a quiet location surrounded by meadows and forests, only 250 metres from the pilgrimage church of Maria Plain and a 10-minute drive from Salzburg.
