The owner speaks English and was extremely friendly and helpful with us planning our route. He also suggested trips in the surrounding area on the days where there were thunderstorms and strong winds on the mountain. Lots of food and supermarkets in the area, and steps from the hotel you get an amazing view of Huangshan on the horizon. They also upgraded our room to one with a balcony since we booked in advance. They have an extensive drink menu and a few food items if you don't feel like leaving the premises. Lots of room to hang out in the lobby, they have some games and even an acoustic guitar. Free laundry as well. Next time we come to huangshan we would stay nowhere else!

The best thing, however, was that the hosts really took care of me and I didn't have to worry about a thing when I was planning my hike around Huangshan as well as the following day. I was a bit busy around the time of my stay and had not done too much research but they sat down with me and walked me through everything. They also helped me with drivers and everything. Would highly recommend Yunshan Villa!

Tastefully decorated, it houses a restaurant and accommodation with free WiFi access. Location is fantastic, right next to the entrance to the scenic area. The staff were very warm, welcoming and thoughtful, gave us tonnes of tips on how to best enjoy the yellow mountains and even a massage gun after we came down! Amenities were very plentiful - they offer everything you could possibly want from a hotel. The room was very comfortable and modern with voice controlled curtains and a very fancy bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. They also offer free rain ponchos and walking sticks to help with the hike.

This is a very comfortable countryside hotel, with clean rooms and beautiful views i could see from the bed directly. The owner comes from Austria and his Chinese wife can speak fluent English and German, giving me a lot of travel advice here. In addition, the chef here can not only make very authentic Anhui cuisine, but also very authentic German cuisine. Roast pork elbow is especially recommended! This could totally be a vacation destination! Not only a sleeping-place. Staying in the hotel is already a great experience! I’ll come back.
