Right opposite Two Rivers and Four Lakes, Guilin Rong Lake Aroma Tea House, formerly Jing Guan Ming Lou Museum Hotel, is located in the city centre. It features collections of ancient Chinese antiques, modern art galleries, a Chinese-style courtyard and accommodation with free wired internet access. Excellent service from hotel staff - helped with booking a day trip to Longji Rice Terraces and also the Li River cruise. Hotel staff gave a lot of advice about where to go and see local sights around Guilin. Everyone's English was also excellent. Location was also very central.

Dreamland Inn seems like a new and family run business, the receptionist was really kind and knew how to speak some English which is not a requirement but always super helpful. They were accommodating and even helped us pay our climbing guide when we had issues. They had a complementary breakfast for us and always offered tea or water. The Inn is tucked away in a more village part of town but it had the most perfect view of the mountains. The room we stayed in had a queen bed and a patio where we just admired the mountains and rested on after a few busy days in Guilin and a rock climbing session. We had tickets to leave late in the evening and the Inn let us rent a scooter to drive around Yangshuo where we saw Moon Hill and a rock cave. When we got back we still had time to kill so they let us hang around in the dining area for a bit. They had just adopted a kitten and so we just played with it till we had to go.

I had an amazing stay at Jingyuan in Yangshuo! The location is unbeatable, right by the Li River with easy access to the bustling West Street via boat. The host Kate was incredibly welcoming and provided great travel tips. The accommodation was cozy and clean, with comfortable bedding ensuring a restful sleep. Overall, a fantastic value for the price. Highly recommend!

The rooms were clean and was very spacious and the place was also very scenic, with a nice route for cycling as well. Everything was excellent, from the rooms, cleanliness, and exceptional guest service.

The property also provides a shared kitchen, tea class, cooking class, calligraphy class and Zen experience. The property was located very nicely in a little village within the city. The rooms themselves were beautifully decorated with good beds, a great bathroom. Who impressed most was the host! She was super friendly and always willing to help us out on how to spend our days. And she cooks a delicious breakfast every morning!

Helpful staff that speaks English. Some distances away from the town center but they provided shuttle to town for us.

It is an exceptional place full of details. The view from the swimming pool looks like a painting. The personal is very friendly and attentive, the only drawback ( as it happens often in China) is the language, they barely speak English. The food is very good,the Chinese as well as the western. They offer many in house activities.including a photo session!It is hard to leave the hotel! I recommend it a 100%!!!
