The room had everything I needed. A fridge, coffee machine, they even provided a kettle at my request. Kitchen also had a microwave and stove top, I didn’t cook but could have if I wanted to. There was even a steamer in the wardrobe to give my clothes a once over after they’d been in my case. The location is PERFECT. Walking distance to everything. Guggenheim, shops, there’s bars and restaurants nearby, pastelerias. The old town is not far and I even went to an event at Bilbao arena and walked there though the area I cut through didn’t feel that safe to come home through so I took the bus right back to behind the hotel. Really had a great stay here and would recommend anybody wanting to be in the centre to consider a stay here, especially for the price.

Rooms at the Spirit Hotel Gran Bilbao feature colourful modern décor and wooden furniture. Each room has air conditioning and a large bathroom with a hairdryer. We had a lovely short stay at the Gran Bilbao Hotel, a very large room with a spacious bathroom (with separate shower and bathtub). The bed was very comfortable, sofa bed was also comfortable for a sofa bed! Leire at Front Desk was very informative and advised us to include the breakfast which was a great choice. We also had dinner, the waitresses were very friendly and accommodating as they were those for breakfast. By the way the breakfast has a great wide selection to choose from!

This may have been the cleanest place I’ve ever been. Host was great. It is out of town and I am walking the Camino - but there is everything you need to make a simple dinner. And you can avoid the business of the city. Highly recommend!
