It is set 600 metres from Canary Wharf Underground Station and provides a lift. The aparthotel offers a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The location was perfect. Just a few minutes to the train station. There were direction arrows all the way from the station pointing you to the property. The room had everything especially for those who like to prepare their own meals. There were food spots all around so one had many choices. The staff were very polite and helpful, very smooth checkin and checkout.

Occupying levels 34-52, the Shangri-La Hotel The Shard, London offers 5-star luxury and breathtaking views of the capital and beyond. It features an exquisite restaurant and serves cocktails until late at the highest bar in London. Very well maintained facilities. We used the pool and sauna daily. The room was immaculate and the view was to die for. The location, close to borough market and London bridge station, was also wonderful. I especially enjoyed their WhatsApp concierge. You can ask for help anytime with a text message and all can be arranged for you.

The hotel was once visited by the likes of Sir Winston Churchill, Frank Sinatra and Katherine Hepburn. The atmosphere, location and the staff were the absolute highlights of my stay.
