It’s also very social and the volunteers, Rishi and Mai, are the a lot of fun and always down for a bonfire, card games or a chat. I can definitely recommend dormigo to anyone lucky enough to find themselves in Bir. It’s also right next to the deer institute for anyone interested in enrolling in a course there.

The units in the accommodation are equipped with a flat-screen TV and slippers. The location was perfect, little away from all the chaos. I could hear the sound of river and the sunrise in the morning was amazing. There is a sitting area right on the edge from where I could enjoy the flow of water and morning sunrays as well. I loved interacting with the Host Divye who helped me explore other parts of Kasol too. If you are looking for some time off in nature then this is definitely the place to be.

The hostel has an amazing location just past the busiest part of Bir, with a view of the surrounding mountains. The rooms are big and clean, and the beds very comfortable with their own privacy curtains. The owner of the Hostel, Raman, is an amazing individual making the hostel experience more superb. He's well travelled and does anything he can to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. For comfort, price, location and company you wont find any place as good in Bir.
