Well set in Hiroshima, Hilton Hiroshima offers 4-star accommodation close to Myoei-ji Temple and Hiroshima City Minami Ward Community Cultural Center. Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! I thought this would be just a nice sleepover place and nothing more but it is so beautiful and has a very unique traditional feel that it made our stay on the island so much better. You even get free breakfast/dinner if you don't have time to eat outside and depart early in the morning/ don't manage to fetch a table in a reataurant in the evening because there is limited amount of restaurants that are open in late evening or early morning. The whole house is very authentic and the family that runs the place also offers a little souvenir shop with super cheap prices of local souvenirs, some even locally handmade. Thr staff is super nice and the xommom areas welcoming to spend the evenings in game/living room. Also had beautiful garden and amazing views from the rooms right on the sea

Between the free shuttle to the airport and the amazing breakfast, it was everything I needed. The room was very clean and had everything that was needed for a great night of sleep before heading home.

The view was amazing, the dinner was very varied and tasty, it had around 10 different small dishes with different types of Japanese foods. We also went to onsen that was clean and enjoyable. The shuttle bus was very convenient - hotel offering an evening ride to see the Torii gate lighten up and the we went there again in the morning after checking out and once we were done sightseeing hotel delivered our luggage to the port and we went back to mainland.

I need to rave abut this hotel. Firstly, i had arrived onto miyajima island really late due to some confusion in kyoto. I had informed the staff that I was delayed and was likely to only arrive after 9pm. They told me to call the hotel so that they can send the shuttle over but once i arrived, i saw that the shuttle was already waiting for me! And I was delayed from the time I told them I would arrive so they must have waited longer than expected. Once I got to the hotel, as they knew to expected me, check in was super quick. Hotel was beautiful and the single rooms were really cute (though small in the way japanese rooms usually are). Location of the hotel also cannot be beat it is right in the middle of all the attractions, and the staff were knowledgeable about the opening hours of attractions. Just when i thought it could not get better, when i told the hotel I was trying to catch a particular ferry timing back to hiroshima, they rushed me to the terminal and i managed to make the ferry! The team went above and beyond to make this solo traveller comfortable and safe. Thank you so much! :)
