The staff were very kind and helped with any and all requests that we had. This is my 2nd time staying here and I will definitely be back again the next time I'm in Hakodate.

Great place to chill, read a book, and take in the view. Plenty of parking—1200 Yen for our two days—and immediate access to the JR Station, convenience stores, and Morning Market area with restaurants. A perfect place to stay for exploring and unwinding in Hakodate, and a big bonus if you're a fan of Japanese trains with views of the train yard and railway theming throughout the hotel. The rooms, which are compact but well-designed, maintain this theming. Overall, a stellar hotel and one of our favourites on our recent trip—bonus points for the hotel smelling absolutely delightful throughout.

The star of this hotel... Fantastic, must try it even if you don't love the onsen atmosphere (yeah, the naked people).

Open from November 2018, Tokyu Stay Sapporo Odori is situated in Sapporo. A 3-minute walk from Odori Park, the property is also a 7-minute walk away from Sapporo Clock Tower and offers free WiFi. Attractions in the area include Sapporo TV Tower, a 7-minute walk away, or Former Hokkaidō Government Office, located an 8-minute walk from the property. Internet is fast although no smart TV. Free flow unlimited Georgia coffee and ice in the lobby next to the reception was a plus point. Staffs were also very helpful, they also kept my mobile-phone when I accidentally left it at the smoking room. Hotel was 2 minutes walk to Tanukikoji shopping street and Odori Park. Taxi to Sapporo station was around JPY 1500. The building is newish and room (around 19m2) was equipped with a washing machine & dryer so it is convenient for my 2 weeks trip. The room was also equipped with small kitchenette with a stove, a sink, a microwave and an electric kettle. Limited housekeeping didn't include carpet vacuuming and making the bed but kitchen and bath amenities including towel was supplied and trash was taken out daily. Breakfast at the hotel is good enough. Enough selection of Japanese and Western foods

400 metres from Otaru Station, Guest House 来夢 is a recently renovated property situated in Otaru and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The property has city views and is 18 km from Otarushi Zenibako City Center and 36 km from Sapporo Station. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and luggage storage space for guests. Super convenient location, close to Otaru station, canal and old railway. Really nice people! I truly feel really warm and relaxed, like my home in Otaru lol.

Perfect for a long stay in Sapporo — I wish I had stayed longer. Everything was perfect. The twin room we got was spacious, with large beds, a nice and clear view, and clean, quiet surroundings with easy access to Sapporo Station. The elevators were fast and reliable. There was daily free bottled water, cleaning and even a tote bag provided for shopping or onsen use. The bath towels and POLA toiletries were excellent — the shampoo is my new favorite! The pajamas were very comfortable, like a Muji style - wish I could take them home.

Offering a spa and wellness centre, the property is located within 41 km of Otarushi Zenibako City Center. Certain rooms at the property feature a balcony with a mountain view. The staff were absolutely incredible; we had to have our bags shipped down to Osaka due to smaller stops in Tokyo and Mt Fuji (too short to be able to guarantee the bags would arrive on time) which is a crazy distance. The ladies at the Information Centre were able to explain the process for this and even drew us a map to get to the shuttle bus to the train station and encouraged us to take a jacket and do a practice walk the night before. The tour we booked was also fantastic, and the food and local beer was great too. The room was incredible; it was so affordable for the space you're given and relaxing in the onsen overlooking the ballpark was an unforgettable experience, they even have snacks and a bar! Everyone we came across was so lovely, even other people staying were interested to hear about our trip as it's not a common place to find foreigners.
