Small gestures such as cold water and a fruit plate was welcomed and driving us into town for dinner was a kind gesture. The cabin was spacious, clean and had thoughtful extras such as toothbrush and paste. The bed was large and very comfortable. I highly recommend this home stay for a great experience in Battambang.

The family running the accommodation were outstanding, making us feel so welcome. We did a day tour with the owner which was a brilliant way to see all the sights around Battambang. Located in Wat Kor Village, 4 km from Psar Nat shopping area, Battambang Resort features bright and modern rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of a garden or lake. Home to an outdoor pool, restaurant and bar the resort is surrounded by rice fields and provides free private parking. The room was large and very comfortable. Linens were very good quality; bathrobes were nice. Breakfast was very good. Pleasant garden surroundings. The hotel is 3km away from city centre, but this is not actually a problem. One ought to come here for dinner if staying in town; the restaurant is very excellent!

The hosting family was welcoming us with open arms and a very warm heart. We felt immediately like at home. The location is a wonderful green spot with many plants and flowers which makes the place calm and perfect to come down and relax. Setha & her kids were very personal and authentic; we spend a very special evening together having private chats about life... about the world. I highly recommend a stay there if you wish to spend an authentic moment with locals with an interesting life.

The room has everything you need; good AC, comfortable bed, hot shower, and the attached bar & restaurant serves tasty homemade food. You can tell they focus on quality rather than profit, making everything from scratch and using ingredients grown themselves or purchased from the local market when in season. The hosts are happy to help you plan things to do in the Battambang area, organize bus travel and if there is a chance they will show you some local life. We had a delicious breakfast at the market, a fun coffee shop experience and heard a lot of interesting stories. We had already booked our bus ticket with VET and they still called the bus company to organize a free pick up from their guesthouse - thank you so much! The service and quality here is something special and we are really glad we chose to stay. Looking forward to returning in the future!
