It is surrounded by a tropical garden and has everything you need for a pleasant stay: a mosquito net, sockets in each corner (including next to the kingsize bed), multiple electric fans, a brand-new bathroom with a shower that produces hot water immediately (which is rare in Cambodia), and toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. Furthermore, the WIFI was super fast! The host picks you up at a location of your choice and when you leave, he can take you to your preferred location. During my stay, he suggested an incredible restaurant that was surprisingly cheap for the quality of food, drove me there and picked me up. The highlight of my stay was the tour that the host offered. We drove to local villages that are rarely visited by tourists and took a ride on the famous bamboo train. It was an authentic and unforgettable experience. In short, I highly recommend Odambang Village Homestay. One of the nice places we stayed in Cambodia, and we would have stayed longer if we could! The good staff were incredibly attentive, and the lovely owners made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, offering a very scenic and tranquil setting that enhanced our experience. Plus, the very good Wi-Fi allowed us to stay connected while enjoying the chilled and relaxed atmosphere.

Our host gave us an afternoon tour of the Killing caves and the temples around the area and we got to see the bats fly out; he was very knowledgeable. Absolutely beautiful place to relax, enjoy good food and explore the beautiful surroundings with just a short ride away from town. Staff is amazing!

Setha was an Amazing host, very kind and attentive. In general the place is beautiful, comfortable, a unique hostel with a real Cambodian vibe. The food was generous and tasty. In particular, my private room was good, super comfortable bed, quite (because I was looking this environment), have a fan and one cozy terrace. A lot benefits in an excellent price. You can walk to the center or rent a bike to discover this land (recommend).

The room has everything you need; good AC, comfortable bed, hot shower, and the attached bar & restaurant serves tasty homemade food. You can tell they focus on quality rather than profit, making everything from scratch and using ingredients grown themselves or purchased from the local market when in season. The hosts are happy to help you plan things to do in the Battambang area, organize bus travel and if there is a chance they will show you some local life. We had a delicious breakfast at the market, a fun coffee shop experience and heard a lot of interesting stories. We had already booked our bus ticket with VET and they still called the bus company to organize a free pick up from their guesthouse - thank you so much! The service and quality here is something special and we are really glad we chose to stay. Looking forward to returning in the future!
