All the plants were real! Also, there were toilets for every bedroom which was a huge plus.

About the rustique guest house; The rooms are simple but for us they were perfect. The complimentary breakfast was generous and nothing we expected when we booked the room, in the kitchen you could find free drinking water from the tap. Overall a really good stay, and good value for the money definitely.

One of the cleaner and more modern stays we have had during our travels. Was a little nervous for only 2 shared bathrooms but other guests were very respectful, kept it clean and were not loud at any time of day. Glass door separating shower from rest of bathroom helped to keep the floors dryer. We were upgraded rooms and really enjoyed the private porch separate from the shared outdoor area.

If you want to discover this part of Malaysia and its indigenous culture, this is the place! Our chalet was made in a traditional way and was very comfortable with nice mosquito nets (no holes) and a shower with hot water. We slept so well! No need for a/c in this part of Malaysia. The included breakfast was very good, and you get to enjoy it in a beautiful spot surrounded by rainforest and a waterfall. No wifi but good cellular internet connection. If you have an e-sim, you will be fine. I highly recommend the native dinner (very tasty!) and the jungle trek. The owners and the people running the place are super friendly. They can arrange tours for you and will teach you lots about their culture. You will also have the chance to try their traditional pipe hole blowing. It was an amazing experience, and I only wish we stayed more than 2 nights. I hope to be back one day. Thank you for everything Gee Tatt!
