Awesome helpful staff, beautifully renovated place, dogs very welcome, good parking option (just a bit more for valet), very close to all attractions in downtown Groningen. Will definitely return and recommend!

When staying at the bed and breakfast, guests can use private entrance. We had a great stay. Very clean, very well stocked rooms

Situated within 22 km of Simplon Music Venue and 22 km of Martini Tower in Slochteren, Smaakvol Slochteren features accommodation with seating area. I really enjoyed my stay at the Smaakvol Slochteren, I will certainly stay here again during my next visit to Groningen! Comfortable bed, nice room, excellent breakfast and I could even sit and relax in the garden. Ellen was so attentive and helpful in giving tips and suggestions, making the stay so nice! I stayed here for four nights and during one of the days they offered me to use one of the bicycles so I could explore the area by bike and enjoy the countryside of Groningen during a nice sunny day. Also the tip regarding a local garden center was excellent. Big thanks!

Ark van Thesinge is situated in Thesinge and has a heated pool and garden views. This bed and breakfast features free private parking and free shuttle service. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The property was in a quiet location. We were greeted at the front door and shown to our rooms. They were tastefully decorated and large. The breakfast was amazing- everything your heart desires.

Breakfast was very yummy, everything what you need and if you have some special need for your breakfast it’s not problem at all. In kitchen is everything, even aluminium foil or paper towels or plastic cups/plates for children. And the bed? Beautiful room and very comfortable for our family of four. Within walking distance of the city center.

All facilities were great and every little detail was considered. We could park our motorcycles in the back yard. Private entrance to our room. Breakfast was amazing and the nice hosts offered us drinks when we arrived. Felt super special!
