Lake Taupo and Tokaanu Thermal Pools are within 5 minutes’ drive from Creel Lodge. The Tongariro National Park’s ski fields and walking trails are 40 minutes’ drive away. We felt welcomed. The parking was easy. The apartment had everything we needed except for washer. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The location has very nice surroundings. It is however not in the town centre which for us was an advantage.

Hosts were lovely and hot pools were amazing (outdoor and in room). Right down the road from the lake where you can see the ducks and relax. 15 min walk to town.

All Guest rooms offer the modern day necessities in all our suites such as a 42-inch Flat Screen Televisions with +50 Sky Digital Channels, Free Unlimited Wi-Fi access, Heat pump and Air-conditioner and off-street parking. It was easy to check in. The room we had was very clean,new and modern. The kitchen facilities were great and the apartment was warm and cozy as we visited during winter. The bathroom was also very clean and nice.

Guests staying at this aparthotel have access to a balcony. The aparthotel features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. It was a little difficult to find even with the map I brought with me. Should have spent one fewer day in Rotorua, and a second day in Taupo.

The property is non-smoking and is located 6.4 km from Hamilton Gardens. We stayed on a quiet street in Chartwell and didn’t hear any noise at all during our stay. The house felt really new and well looked after. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, it was super spacious for us. The garage had an electric door, which made things very convenient.
