The hotel is a 2.5-hour drive from Chiayi Railway Station. The hotel is located in a great location, in the centre of the city in Alishan. We could walk only 5 minutes to Alishan Station. The room is clean, new, and comfortable to stay in. Bathroom is bigger than i expected. Staffs were kind and helpful. There is shuttle bus during bus station and hotel. Local breakfast was awesome.

天隆民宿Tian Long Tea Farm HomeStay is situated in Le-yeh, 27 km from Alishan Forest Railway, 29 km from Wufeng Park, and 32 km from Jiao Lung Waterfall. This homestay features free private parking, luggage storage space and free WiFi. The homestay has family rooms. The vancinity around Shizhao has become my favorite part of Taiwan. Strategically its a great pivot points between Alishan and Fengqihu (separate day trips), and personally, Shizhao has became the better experience within its own right. Our host Mr. Xue drove us to see fireflies nearby at night. He also drove us to nearby attractions to make the most of our day. He was also so kind to explain tea harvesting and brewing process while we enjoyed the tea he brewed. Our room was huge, equipped with its own tea set. Waking up and starting each day amongst a tea field is a real treat and the aroma of tea permeates though the town. There are great looped trails nearby transecting through multiple tea farms and bamboo forests, look for the Shizhao trail systems, some of my favorite includes the mist, cloud, and sunset trail.

Hotel room was clean, there was hot water, drinking water and toiletries provided. The host was warm and welcoming.
