This classic Italianate villa was really beautifully restored, very comfortable and with excellent amenities. The modern kitchen was very useful - apparently shared but we saw no one else! Great views from the room and huge wonderful balcony/terrace. Handy for the railway and buses. We loved it!

Very clean, newly decorated, and very comfortable bedroom located in a perfect spot close to the Lago Maggiore località Minusio. Breakfast at Osteria della Riva was excellent as well as the dinner at the Restaurant all'approdo di Tenero. We'll come back!

Well equipped quaint cottage with a magnificent view of the lake, good parking close by. Extremely friendly and helpful host who prepared delicious extensive breakfast. Nice interior, prosecco and pastry as welcome. Lovely little village located up the mountain above Lago Maggiore. The loggia where we could sit and sip wine was a hidden gem.

I was genuinely impressed by the quality of service at this hotel. Although it's rated as a 3-star, the warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere made it feel like so much more—it was truly one of the highlights of our trip through Italy and Switzerland. Some standout aspects of our stay included: A complimentary room upgrade upon arrival, offering a breathtaking view A thoughtful welcome with complimentary wine, apples, and snacks in the room Refreshments like tea, infused water, and light snacks always available in the lobby A beautiful garden with a fantastic swimming pool—perfect for unwinding Free public transport tickets provided for the duration of our stay The overall atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and ideal for relaxation. The location is right in the middle of the central piazza area, very close walk to the station and easy to get to bus lines and the ferry. I loved my room, with one side facing into the beautiful private courtyard and the other overlooking the cute shopping street outside. Very nice kitchen, comfortable furniture. Barbara and Urs were so helpful in giving me advice about my trains, and very friendly and warm (comfortable communicating in English). I had my own table in the courtyard. Although there were other guests it stayed very quiet (doesn’t seem to be a party district) and I slept well every night. I would very happily stay here again in the future.
