I loved it! Even though I was only there for one night, I'd recommend anyone staying there. Yes, the accommodation is basic, yes it's far away from everything, but the bus can drop you off at the closest intersection. From there it's a 5 minutes walk. I enjoyed everything. The host is so friendly, the view is amazing, bed's cozy, everything.

We had a wonderful stay at The Cabanas Del Chicamocha.It is so a beautiful place in so a wonderful area.It is so nice,so quiet with an unforgettable view to the Canon Del Chicamocha. The owner is very,very helpful.He answers very quickly to all your wishes and organizes taxis and meals. All was perfect at this very special place.We are so happy to have beeing there . Warm welcome by the host and the flexibility. Also the location and peace and quiet with that are amazing. The food prepared is wonderful and a lot. We arrived late but still they were very happy to make us dinner. There is a lot of wildlife and the host gave us a nice tour around the premises, which is a coffee estate.

Great hosts. Great breakfast. Great location...if you have a car as it is a bit outside of town. That said, being outside of town is one of its charms. Life doesn't get much better than burying yourself in one of the hammocks and uncoupling from the world.

Location is so beautiful. The hotel was tranquil and the staff very attentive and accommodating with nothing too much trouble. Rooms very clean and spacious. My partner and I were very impressed overall and plan to return at a later date, maybe more than once.

Lovely hostel, comfy room, huge secure parking, VERY VERY good value for money. Maria, the manager, very helpful and kind. Be VERY hungry for breakfast. Maria doesn't ask what you would like for breakfast, she just serves up everything!
