Beautiful and stylish builing in the Old Town. Amazing decor and really nice size rooms with comfortable beds. Out of the three hotels we stayed at during our travel to Colombia, Casona del Colegio was definitely the best. It was also the only hotel where the staff spoke English which was important to us given that we don't speak Spanish. Everyone we met at the hotel was nice, friendly and super professional. I'd especially like to call out the reception/front desk staff for their hospitality and help. There's also a small pool area upstairs which offered a good view of the city and allowed us to relax during the hottest moments of the day. The beds are big and comfortable and I loved the size of the bathroom. We loved our stay at Casona del Colegio and felt very well taken care of and we would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

The staff was super helpful and responsive. The pool was closed but they kindly gave us access to the nearby pool club which made up for it. The flat was very nice and clean and the location excellent!

Wonderful stay!! Casa Canabal is a beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of the Getsemani district. My husband and I did a short vacation to Cartagena and another location along with 3 other couples, and I was responsible for choosing the hotel. Research led me to Casa Canabal...what a great choice! We were all extremely happy with this lovely hotel The rooms are clean and the bed is very comfortable. The hotel is literally in the middle of Getsemani, and there's easy access to everything, especially restaurants. But what makes this hotel stand out is its people. The staff is lovely. So friendly, professional, and attentive, every one of them. We received excellent service overall. Although our Spanish was limited, we were able to communicate because they were so attentive and eager to help. They went out of their way to make our stay fantastic, whether it was arranging our airport pickups or having sandwiches ready for us to take on the morning of our departure. We had an early flight and missed the hotel breakfast. Special thanks to Rosmy, She's a gem. Also to Affonso and Juan in the restaurant. I can't say enough about the staff. I highly recommend Casa Canabal.
