Everything was very very good. The location is fantastic, with a swim in the Tarn river just 10 m away. The building is remarkable and filled with history. The food was outstanding (who is that chef btw?). The –all young– staff was very nice. Even if it is not a cheap hotel, you regret that you have to leave at some point. I honestly did not know an hotel could be that great and other hotel managers should go there and learn. Why can't I rate it 11/10?

We had not stayed here before, but were so glad we found the Chateau. It was far enough away from the busyness of Bordeaux and Libourne but still near some fine wineries so we could purchase wine to take back. The staff here is outstanding. The manageress who runs everything made our stay so pleasant. She bent over backwards to do things for us from making arrangements at some of the very fine restaurants in the area to winery tours, and just looking after us. There is much to like about the chateau, its setting and so on, but the manageress is really what made things tick so well. Oh and the breakfast is amazing. If you eat the entire breakfast you will not need lunch. We are planning another trip to this area of France next fall and plan to spend a few nights here again.
