The room was lovely,& had great facilities.There was breakfast pasties,bread & butter for toast,tea & coffee, cereal & fresh fruit,plus orange juice & sparkling water,which was all lovely. The kitchen also has a fridge/freezer,a dishwasher & a cooker,so all you'd need for a few days stay. The bathroom had a nice shower with shampoo supplied,& the bedroom was light & airy,with a a sofa & a couple of extra seats & a fold out little table,& the TV had fire stick,with lots of choices of streaming sites. Jerry,our host,was fantastic,so friendly & welcoming,& parked here car on the roadside,so we could park in the driveway. Holt town centre is only a few minutes walk away,so the Firefly is in a very convenient location. There's even garden furniture in the garden,but was a little chilly for us to sit outside! Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

We went back into time, a rural pub, with old-fashioned rooms but comfy beds, and a very lovely dining/pub parlour, in a village still unspoilt with its beautiful saltmarshes and shingle beaches. Ronan and Alan are the Harnser, they make it what it is, friendly and comfortable, a haven of social mixity and chat, excellent food and excellent breakfast. Thank you for your lovely presence and making the stay so enjoyable.

Room had nice decor and was very clean. Was also ready a bit early for us to check in. Bed was very comfortable and there was a nice selection of amenities available (various teas, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, bottled water, ear plugs and cotton buds.) We ate dinner and breakfast here and enjoyed both meals, staff were all lovely and welcoming too.

    This is a little gem of a place with friendly staff, beautiful rooms and lovely food. Our room came with a little balcony with a tabke and chairs overlooking the garden which was an added and welcome surprise. The breakfast was delicious and the setting peaceful and very well maintained. They are dog friendly which I liked as I own dogs but I wouldn't say it would be a problem for anyone not so keen as its very well set up to cater for both those with and without dogs. It was just a lovely experience all around.

    Dog friendly. Kind, helpful staff. Lovely location. Peaceful & relaxing atmosphere. Lots of different seating areas to relax. Nice views from the bar. Our nervous rescue dog thought so, too. 😁 🐕 Exceptionally clean. (The cleaners are Ninjas, I never saw them.)🥷 Would like to return in the future. A nice place to land for a treat. Dog fees are expensive and prohibitive if you want to stay a while.

    All great and pet friendly. Superb location, staff and welcome. Restaurant was lovely. Only a few small touches missing to make it 5* such as no bathrobes. I always like a bathrobe when I’m away but that’s all that was missing.
