By far the most welcoming staff I’ve ever come across in the country. There’s a real attitude of saying yes to everything they can and being genuinely happy doing so. It’s my second stay and definitely not my last. Best family hotel ever!!!

We stayed here last weekend and 12 months ago, both times visiting for Bath Christmas Market. We found the house perfectly met our requirements. Straightforward walk into town / railway station to catch direct train to Bath. Parking on the drive excellent.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a Georgian building, that is very well kept. They added all these nice touches with the music playing from the radio in the room and being able to play records from the record player in the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. The location is just next to the Pulteney bridge, but it’s just outside of the main city centre, so it’s a little quieter.

    The Pool House was perfectly positioned in the grounds of Granby Estate. The kitchen was very well fitted and supplied with the necessary equipment for cooking meals. It had a lot of basic foods such as spices, tea, coffee. A lovely touch was fresh milk, bread and butter. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. There was a very large load of wood for the woodburner although we didn't use it. We had 2 dogs with us and they were very well catered for with bed, dog treats, towel and toys. A wonderful short stay.

    Location and scenery - waking up with the sound of birds, quietness and the garden views were priceless. Amazing home decoration and very spacious. Great selection of books. Our dog was spoiled and very welcomed with a dog bed, treats, bowl of water... I wish we could stay longer or come back in the Springtime.

    Room.. Location, right by the river Avon in town centre. Many outside tables for drinks and eating, some right next to river path,and we watched the wildlife and the people paddle boarding and rowing and walking family and dogs. Beautiful trees. Garden tables dog friendly. Staff very cheerful and friendly.
