It’s such a lovely studio, it has everything you need and in a great location. The whole flat is really cute and cosy, especially the bed in loft space upstairs - I slept so well! The kitchen is well equipped and the whole studio is incredibly clean and tidy.

Very pleasant room. Excellent bed and quality bedding - always makes a difference. We didn't eat there as we arrived late , but we had a drink and it is a truly lovely atmospheric old English inn. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely top class. I had scrambled egges on toast and there was practically too much, and my husband who is vegan enjoyed a cooked breakfast too. The coffee was so good I had to go back on the way home again (through Newhaven) to find out about their coffee and the machine they use! It was very well placed for coming off the Newhaven ferry late ( about 10.30pm - not sure if you could arrive after hours) and there is a huge car park ( rather dark!) I would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay at this 3-bedroom flat in Brighton. The flat was very clean and comfortable, and it suited our needs perfectly. It’s about a 7-minute drive from the seafront, which was convenient for us. The building is a council property, but the flat itself was well-kept and welcoming. The host was very nice, responsive, and easy to communicate with. The mattresses were on the softer side, but the bed linen was spotless and fresh. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this place. We’d be happy to return next time we’re in Brighton.

    Very pretty pub with a roaring fire, and the emperor sized beds are like sleeping on a cloud. Hot and strong shower, homemade elderflower cordial and chocolates in the rooms. I’ve tried all the rooms during the time I’ve stayed, and they’re all great. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who are kind and attentive, including setting me off to work with a hot bacon sandwich because I was leaving very early. The food is also fantastic and VERY importantly, they are dog friendly. I’ve already booked to return.

    Very friendly staff. Very dog friendly. Excellent breakfast. Peaceful location with good dog walking. Elderflower cordial in the fridge was a nice touch although we did not realise until we were leaving! Beautifull garden

    Great country pub hotel, relaxed atmosphere. Good food in the restaurant. Our room was comfortable, stylish and well appointed. We had one of the smaller double rooms but our en suite was large with a full width shower. Dog friendly. Large, multi level garden surrounding the back. Quiet location in a rural backwater but seems a popular place as it was pretty busy even in midweek.
