Location was close to where we needed to be so that was great. The property was excellent with modern fitout to a period building in a rural setting. The room was warm on a cold day and very quiet and the beds were comfortable. The host was excellent and provided us with local information.

Shangri-La is a lovely little property. It’s cosy but it offered everything I needed for my one night stay whilst working locally. It was comfortable and perfectly clean. Shower room was a good size and the shower worked really well. Location was handy and really peaceful. I can highly recommend. Would happily stay again.

Lovely house. Clean and modern. The kitchen was particularly well equipped. All worked well. In a quiet part of town overlooking a park. Private undercover parking. The owner was very helpful and accommodating answering our questions very quickly

We had a lovely 2 night break in the Narrow Escape, it was wonderful. Everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped, the sofa bed was so much more comfortable than we expected and the log burner is sooooo lovely.

The caravan was modern, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. A great idea to utilise for a night or two if travelling as I do. Will definitely be back in the future. The owner was exceptionally helpful and was available for anytime at all. Thank you, great idea 👍

    Small but excellent room with everything you need and exceptional connectivity with many more plug and USB points than I’ve seen in major hotel rooms! Fab breakfast how I like it, straight to the table from the kitchen. Dog friendly, Meggie loved it too. Lovely helpful staff.

    Having lived in the village for thirty years I had eaten and drunk in the establishment many time over the years. After moving away this was a return visit for one night. We had booked a petite double room but although nothing was said I suspect we may have been upgraded to a disability room perhaps in recognition of obvious age and walking ability. For this we were very grateful and comfortable appreciating the assistance aids that had been installed. (wall bars etc.) Staff friendly and professional. Dog friendly in room, bar and restaurant.

    Breakfast was tasty and there were gluten free adaptations. Staff were friendly and were happy to help. Dog friendly room and everyone made us feel as though our dog was really welcome. Rooms were very comfortable.
