It was incredible to find such a comfortable villa in such a wild location. The villa is not big, but it has everything you need. You can tell it was made with a lot of love and care. They even provide robes, slippers, breakfast items, and a fully stocked minibar, which is so convenient since there are no shops within walking distance. The location is unique, with a stunning view of the rice terraces—no houses in front, offering complete seclusion and privacy. There are no tourists around, so you get to experience Bali in its untouched beauty. We were welcomed so warmly, and they prepared an incredible surprise that I will remember for the rest of my life. There was a bird in a cage, which we were asked to set free as a symbol of liberation. It was so unexpected, yet so beautiful and moving! Another amazing thing was that you can walk down to the river and wander through the rice fields completely alone. The energy there is something else—I've never felt anything like it anywhere else! I left feeling rejuvenated in both body and soul. I fell in love with this place forever!

This is a little magical place, truely a hidden gem. It's not just the location and the ambiance, it's the staff in the kitchen that make this place so wonderful. The food is incredible, you can taste the love and passion for the balinese spices and the respect for mother earth as well.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gempinis Coffee Shop and Villa in Bali, and it was an unforgettable experience. We stumbled upon this location as we made a last-minute change in our holiday schedule and we got ve-ry lucky! The staff was very caring and both the owners David and Cameron were very hospitable, to the point we almost felt guilty for not staying longer (in a good way!). The resort is perfect for those looking to distance themselves from their busy life and return to the present, with the beautiful lush tropical garden surrounding the accommodation. Although it's far away from other towns, there is nothing you miss out on as they have everything at the resort and do organized tours as well.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and warm-hearted. Putu shared a lot of knowledge with us – we are very grateful for that; it was truly enriching. Amazing place! The hosts Adi and May are so kindhearted and helpful people, and they take you in like family! The cottage is beautifully located in the lush jungle, if you want to connect with nature and feel the zen it is the perfect place! May cooked all meals for me, very delicious Indonesian food with local ingredients! She also took me around for sightseeing in the area, she is such a wonderful person it is impossible not to be happy with her. Adi helped med with all my practical needs. There is electricity in the cottage, hot water shower, they supply drinking water and there is a kettle along with tea and coffee. Everything you need.

Exceptional service by the host Mr. Komang and Mr. Adi. We had requested the pool to be decorated with flowers for our anniversary which was lovely 😍. Mr. Adi cooked us delicious dinner and breakfast accommodating our needs and even gave us snake fruit from the farm to take away with us. The heart shaped pool and the tower are perfect if you are looking for a romantic getaway.

Absolutely fantastic place in idyllic setting. Could not fault it, very romantic. Rooms in the lodges very secluded and luxurious - loved the bathroom with open air sky view. The pool area was in such a gorgeous location with jungle views and the onsite natural waterfall. We really enjoyed the couples massage which was outside on the decking area with the sound of running water from the waterfall. It was very quiet when we stayed in April so we almost had the place to ourselves. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

The whole place is an incredible garden with big rooms around. The owners are super nice and you can ask them for any meal you want, and that's great because there are not so many places to eat around. There's also a free refill tank at the reception.

    The Eco Lodge is in a pretty and remote location on the slopes of Batukaru volcano. The cottages are dotted around lush gardens growing fruit and herbs. Our cottage had a shady terrace to relax on. There’s a really excellent restaurant serving local specialities, a freshwater swimming pool and some comfy places to sit. From the lodge there are excellent guided walks into the plantations, rainforest and temples.
