From the moment we arrived we received outstanding care from the on-site concierge. Nothing was too much trouble - from house cleaning to laundry and help with the local food delivery services. The apartment itself is spotless and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. AC in every room, kitchen with fridge, kettle and microwave and a water filter which meant that we did not have to buy bottled water. Beds were extremely comfortable and the roof terrace was a bonus extra space to hang out in the evenings. WiFi was excellent. The location was great. You could get a cab directly to the door and it is walking distance to Ballygunge train station, a local supermarket, Gariathat and many restaurants and coffee houses. Would highly recommend!

Everything about this property, the host, the location is WOW. Anybody who is looking to immerse themselves in Traditional Bengali culture, way of living and art - this is the place to be. The host is extremely detail oriented and makes your stay comfortable and most importantly warm. I stayed here with my parents, uncle and my partner and we are definitely coming back. She puts the guests before anybody else and you leave feeling happy and content.

The owner is very cordial and cooperative. the lady Geeta who is looking after everything is very cooperative, well-behaved. we had a very safe stay and also will prefer to stay whenever we come to Kolkata. We still plan to stay more.

Amazing heritage hotel in the heart of Calcutta, located next to the American Consulate - so as you can guess it's a highly secured neighbourhood.
