This place was very nice experience for me. Is a typical Italian house with everything that you need. It has a huge yard with waterfall and mountain views over the Dolomites. We choose this house as a starting point for Alta via 1. The hosts were very very nice and polite with us. They've prepared for us a tasty breakfast with some italian music in the background. Also they help us with a ride until the staring point on our trail. I will definitely came back here.

We were totally positively surprised. It was said that arrival time should be until 19.00, but due to road problems we had arrived only at 21:00. We were in contact with with host’s all the time and they were very calming. Next surprise was that Appartament had all necessary things like coffee tea oil sugar etc. Even more, in fridge there were two beers waiting for us, limoncello water juice, toasts and kinder surprise for kids. All including the price. But all surprises didn’t stop since our daughter celebrated birthday, there was ring in the morning and host presented to her a present for birthday. So kind and nice. Beautiful room with amazing mountain views! They have a fully equipped shared kitchen which was a blessing! Variety of packaged Breakfast items, coffee machine and milk! The owner also helped me find appointment with a vet when my dog fell sick! I am absolutely grateful for that! I highly recommend staying here!

We travel extensively and don't leave many reviews but O'Scugnizzo 2 deserves our time. Late on a Saturday evening we were looking for a reasonably priced, clean and comfortable hotel in a pricey tourist region and that's exactly what we got. Our room is much nicer in reality than the online photos lead you to think. Lovely quality white sheets and decent towels, no mysterious stains to be found here or hand towels disguised as bath towels. These bath towels were big enough to wrap around a substantial sized body. Yes, it's a no frills family run establishment of a certain era but they're not pretending to be anything else, like some hotels we've experienced. We got a big room with a King size bed that we could actually move around in without falling over each other including a wardrobe and computer desk with two chairs. A kettle with tea and coffee were a lovely bonus that most hotels don't provide now. Small TV but not an issue for us. The main thing we appreciated was how absolutely spotless our room and bathroom were. Not a speck of dirt to be found anywhere, no dust bunnies in the corners or behind doors and no dirty tile grout or mold in this bathroom. Whoever does the housekeeping in this hotel has pride in their work. The whole building looks loved and well maintained. Plenty of private off street parking spaces including optional covered garage space. If you want a hotel in the area just stop looking and reading reviews and book O'Scugnizzo 2. Come with an open mind and we expect, like us, you will get a very clean, comfortable room including breakfast which means you can then afford to have a drink and a great dinner downstairs in the restaurant without scaring your credit card because all up it will cost you about the same price (or in many cases much less) than other local hotels are charging just for a room only. The restaurant was full of locals and that usually tells the real story.
