We (my family and I) had a wonderful stay at Agriturismo del Pigato - Bio Vio. The place is ran by the family Vio who are both excellent hosts and lovely people. The apartment was very clean, well maintained and well-equipped. The breakfast was delicious with many local ingredients and products (not included but well priced at 8e per person). As the guests we were offered a free wine and olive oil tasting! It was a great opportunity to try and purchase some of the unique local products, learn more about the wine making and olive oil making history of the family Vio and the region of Liguria. Last but not least, for anyone traveling with a dog, this place is dog friendly (with a small surcharge). - Albenga is a charming town with many restaurants - some sandy beaches nearby Free street parking nearby with plenty of spots

    The facility is very charming and in a quiet location, away from any roads. The rooms are simple but very spacious and extremely clean, we appreciated that they had mosquito nets in front of the windows which allowed us to keep the windows open at night. the hosts do provide food but it is also possible to take a short drive to the next location if you look for specialty foods. we were sitting outside in the evening and could hear wild hogs in the woods which was spectacular.
