The hosts were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Lunch was very very good and very generous helpings! The Safari organised through the host was superb and well run and the location was beautiful in the middle of the jungle and a short walk to a lovely lake Thank you so much - we had a great time and very highly recommend!!!

I love how they took care of us, and catered to our every need. We were looking for a budget travel, and as far as budget travelling goes, it can't get any better than this. They are also really friendly and made sure we were very comfortable, considering I was travelling with my 7-month pregnant wife. Also, the owners are from the village itself, so staying here means you enrich the very community you are travelling to.

Super kind hosts, they were so attentive. They made us dinner even though we arrived late, they even got up at 5am to make us breakfast to bring with us on our safari. Location was great as we’re close to the safari. The room was comfortable and everything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here!!

Everything. Anta and his staff go out of their way to make the stay as nice as possible. Be sure to go on a full day safari with them, it really is a memorable experience. And the dinner they make is so delicious, highly recommended.

Finding this place on Booking was pure luck — we’ve felt at home from start to finish. They served us delicious traditional dinners and breakfasts, and the attention was outstanding. Our host and her mother are truly wonderful people. She even showed us the river behind her house and took us to the bus station, helping us find the exact bus we needed. I recommend everyone coming to Anuradhapura to stay here. It’s been one of the most unique and beautiful experiences we’ve had while traveling.
