Amazing staff! Sandy and the chef was Lovely and gave us a free cooking experience with local Sri Lankan dishes. The location is a bit outside the city center, but the surroundings are peaceful with beautiful nature. Wish we could stay longer! Will highly recommend!

⭐ (10/10) Fetnale Retreat was simply unforgettable. Set in the mountains and jungle, it had the most breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. Where to start? This place is incredible and I would highly recommend anyone to come and sample the life here. The scenery is spectacular and you will get to spend time with the amazing Niro, Umanga and their family. Delicious home cooked food is on offer and you're just a few minutes walk from the village and it's friendly inhabitants.

Getting there by private car was a challenge, google maps is simply not accurate. Best way is to contact resort before. The team is outstanding, booked only a day before and they managed to make us feel at home. Will come back for sure
