Everything. We were travelling back to the uk with a rescue dog from Morocco and needed a convenient place to stay before we travelled to Spain. Originally had booked a place in tanger but cancelled it when we saw this. Beautiful views and plenty to do. Beach is 5 minute walk. Muhammad is an excellent host. Met at the restaurant across the road and guided us the 1 minute to the apartment. Would definately book again. These hidden gems are hard to come by.

A Hidden Gem by the Sea – Warm, Peaceful & Unforgettable From the moment we arrived at Maison d’Hôtes Marine Ksar Sghir, we knew we’d found something special. Highlights: 1. Warm & Truly Hospitable Staff Zineb (and the rest of the team) couldn’t have been more welcoming. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home — helping with anything we needed, even when we arrived late or had requests. Her kindness truly made the difference. 2. Stunning Location, Close to the Beach & Port Just steps from the sea, the guesthouse offers calming sound of waves, beautiful views, and a serene environment. 3. Comfortable, Clean, & Homely Rooms The rooms are tastefully decorated, bright, and clean. 4. Delicious Breakfast & Food Staying at Maison d’Hôtes Marine Ksar Sghir was one of the warmest, most genuine travel experiences I’ve ever had — and that’s entirely thanks to Zayneb, the incredible host. From the moment we arrived, Zayneb’s warmth and care stood out. Her service was truly above and beyond — not just professional, but personal. She didn’t just treat us like guests; she treated us like friends, making us feel welcomed, seen, and completely at home. Whether it was helping with travel details, preparing delicious meals, or simply checking in with a smile, her presence added something truly special truly special to our stay. The guesthouse itself is lovely — peaceful, clean, and perfectly located near the beach and ferry port. The rooms are cozy, the food is fresh and homemade, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. But what really makes this place unforgettable is the heart behind it — and that’s Zayneb. I genuinely cannot recommend her or her home enough. If you're lucky enough to stay here, you’ll leave not just rested, but truly cared for. Thank you, Zayneb, for everything. I’ll always remember this stay. Rating: 10/10

This is a beautiful villa, although only the bottom half is included in the rental, but with two bedroom, a huge lounge, spacious kitchen, two bathrooms and a massive garden area by the river, it was more than enough. The host and his wife were super-friendly and nothing was too much trouble, I had a problem with a car tyre & he kindly arranged for someone to come and help us. The beds are firm and very comfy, there is a large screen TV with satellite enabled in the lounge, which was really useful on the rainy days. There is ample parking in the driveway behind the safe gated front area, a huge patio out the back and a sheltered patio with seating in the front, all secluded from view, the kitchen has a large fridge-freezer, coffee percolator, gas range and good hot water. The garden is mostly wild, allowing for a diverse range of flowers & pollinators, the river runs along the bottom of it, but there are reeds so it is not accessible, but there's a wonderful symphony of sounds from the birds & animals at night. The location is great, midway between Ksar es-Seghir town and Tangiers, but extremely rural, with lots of domestic animals around and a couple of mini-markets just up the road, selling all the essentials. The long beautiful beach of Oued Alian is just 5 minutes away and well worth a day out for a swim, also the Medina of Tetouan is just an hour south, with it's incredible Souk (street Markets) a must see! The people, we found to be incredibly friendly, generous and willing to chat, help and guide, these are simple country folk who value friendship and are ever willing to give anything they have.

Very big and clean appartement! We’ve been in Morocco for 4 weeks and this was definitely the cleanest I’ve seen! The host was very friendly and took time to get to know us over some tea.

I’ve rented quite a few apartments over the years, but this one truly stands out. The panoramic view over the bay of Tangier is absolutely breathtaking—sunsets from the living room felt surreal. The apartment was spotless, stylishly furnished, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was just as described, if not better. It was quiet, secure, and perfectly located. The host was also very responsive and welcoming. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Tangier. A perfect 10/10.

    This was perfect accommodation for us to catch the ferry after a storm delayed us. The staff member was extremely helpfull and spoke very good english. And explained where to buy food .from the small but well stocked shop next door, and how to get to ferry port. This is a great liitle stopover en route to the ferry port. The decor is all lovely and quaint , also a quiet area we slept well here due to feeling comfortable.

    Nice decor, convenient location, helpful owners. Does the trick if you need a place to sleep to take the ferry. Easy 2 minute walk to the terminal. Nice ocean views, big private patio and convenient restaurant below.
