The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. They always try their best to make us feel comfortable and help to answer all of our questions. The management team is very responsive. They even helped to recommend tour agencies and drivers when we were planning our itineraries. The resort is helping women to get quality job. The resort is very close to the headquarter of Volcanoes National Park, just a 20 minutes drive, so we get to prepare our activities in the Park with ease. The kitchen of the hotel is pretty nice too, as a vegan, they provide me a lot of options.

Very nice guesthouse, the security guide is very lovely and helpful, Chris helped us to show the project and ask for John the driver to plan the trip around Kinigi to your activities. Here was build a project with great purpose and a lot of love from the owners for the ones who really need!

Amazing place in Mother World's treasury. We came in late (much later than expected) at around 11pm at night and they were waiting us and still prepared dinner at our choice. Took all efforts to make the central areas as well as the lodge nicely warm with open fireplace and even hot-water bottle in the beds to warm it up (at night it's pretty fresh there). Excellent, very friendly, caretaking staff. all to highest satisfaction. Very romantic place for couples.

Blue moon Musanze is the sister hotel to the one at Kivu run by the same people. Lovely host Benjamin who went out of the way to help during the entirety of my stay, offering recommendations to eat in town, as well as ideas for things to do in the local area (e.g. hiking, nature, getting to Virunga Park, waterfalls etc) substantial breakfast, very large room with very excellent wifi and working area, also walkable distance to anywhere in the city and bus station - would recommend! Excellent value for money. I also met some nice people to talk to, locals and foreigners. They are still working on hot water but this wasn't a problem for me and they will heat you some water for bathing if you need just ask.

The host is realy friendly and welcoming. He also works in the local tourism and thus knows great places to visit apart from the gorilla trekking. Our car broke down the morning we wanted to leave and he was a great help with getting the right mechanics.

    It’s a really great location, the park entrance for gorilla trekking is about 20 minutes away. You’re in the town but you don’t feel that when you stay here because it’s a really quiet place in nature. Breakfast is really nice, the rooms are clean and spacious, the beds comfortable. Dinner was really nice as well, sitting either in the garden or at the fire place.

    Breakfast was so so good and plentiful. They made sure our wishes were met (i.e. organising peanut butter). The location was good, both town and NP was accessible easily. Bed was comfortable. John was a super host for our stay! So friendly and attentive to our needs. Thanks so much, we really recommend this lovely homestay!

    Perfect location , easy access to the Volcano National Park HQ (20min drive) and walkable to get to the center of town. The property was safe and well maintained The owner, his wife and their employee were all very welcoming and they make me feel like home.

    The location was very good - within walking distance of many things. Francis was very friendly and kind, and answered questions we had about some of the tours. We enjoyed breakfast and our stay in general. The rooms are quite simple but just what we needed for one evening.

    Super clean, everyone was so friendly (including the dogs!) and the dinner/breakfast were wonderful. Location was good, a short walk into Musanze. Francis and Janvier were so helpful in helping me arrange transport for the golden monkey trek as well.

    Nice place to stay. Thanks to the owners for helping us sort out 1 or 2 things, including them phoning Uganda on our behalf. Really nice breakfast, decent bed, nice lounge area and veranda, lovely dog, good location, tours available from the guesthouse itself
