Everything is great, the room is colorful and beautiful, the place has a long history and was transformed to an hotel in a beautiful artistic way. The suite we had was big with everything we needed, little fridge, small desk, closet.... and colors were amazing, it was perfect. The breakfast was one-of-a-kind 🔥 very big a lot of variety, healthy, and made with love, it was the best breakfast we had in tunisia. The staff are very welcome, cool, and nice ❤️ The cats are very cute Briefly it's the perfect stay ❤️

The host, Toutou, goes above and beyond to immerse his guests into an authentic Tunisian experience. Toutou is an attentive, and extremely outgoing host… you will never feel lonely during your stay or lacking in activities/entertainment. The time I spent at Dar Hkaïem will stick with me, and it will be the reason I return to Tunisia in the future. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Owner responded quickly and was very flexible. The place was easy to find and exactly as described. Lovely studio will all that is needed for a couple to stay. I highly recommend for short stay in Sousse.

Staying at Dar Hkaiem is an experience, the property is the house of Majdi’s grandparents, it got renovated, the property is so clean and authentic and feels like the old good Arabian homes, Majdi has a great positive energy and he’s very kind and inclusive, he deals with his guests as friends, he goes out with them, cook for them, tell them where to eat, which places are the best and even goes with them Hammam (Spa) with them. I indeed recommend Dar Hkaiem and I will definitely come back if I am at Sousse.

The house is clean, well equipped, in the heart of the city and close by everything, the open air area is fantastic, bbq corner, safe and comfortable. Doudi has taken a good care of us and assisted a lot, offered advice and called every now and then to check on us. Highly recommended
