The staff was superb. TARA, in particular, was soooo helpful & compassionate. I have a very bad knee & back. Walking is painful. For some reason, despite my request for close proximity to the elevator, my room quite far from it, & my spinner bag wasn't rolling well on the carpet. Tara was on the floor w/ a housekeeping cart, saw me struggling, called the desk to change my room to one right next to elevator, & put my bag inside the room for me. OUTSTANDING!

    The location is pet friendly, we are not. The room had dog hair on the sofa, but the staff was incredibly helpful and gave us a new upgraded room with a view.

    Really cute hotel. Old charm, super quaint. Positives: Cute hotel, decorated invitingly for the holidays, nice staff, good breakfast, wonderful hotel to stay with your pet! We travelled with our 180lbs dog Gaia and had no issues and felt welcome with her. Great location too, surrounded by restaurants and quaint Williamsport downtown!

    Having read previous reviews I had an expectation that the hotel and it's decor were "retro", a step back in time, which was part of the reason for booking ie something different from what we had been experiencing on our roadtrip. Clearly this was a classy hotel in the past, thick carpets, chandeliers, huge rooms etc and we enjoyed the ambience. Staff were friendly, bedroom was huge, water hot, good choice for breakfast, free parking in a central location.
