The inn features family rooms. Very nice location in old building in a small beautyful town. Breakfast was OK.

First, many thanks again to owner Mr. Werner; who was always very kind and welcoming. This small hotel is a special place. Rooms are very clean and actually quite big. The heating comes from the floor. Although I shared the batroom it was not a problem at all, it is very clean. I stopped my journeyat this place half way to the Kassel, there and back, both ways. It is about 15 minutes drive away from Highway exit. The breakfast at Preith is a highlight, it felt like eating at home. Mr.Werner bought especially for me Oat and rice milk for breakfast, because I do not consume cow milk products. Also the warm fresh bread, butter and local jam were my favourites! I arrived in the evening and it was always very quiet. So good to rest at this place. There is also a good pizzeria/italian restaurant about 700 meters away. So, if you are traveling towards north of Germany and you need a rest, this is a great place to stop and chill! :):):)

The hotel has a sauna and luggage storage space. Beautiful hotel! We loved the design with the wood beams. The bed was very comfortable. The maxi bar was a great idea. Only downside is that there was only one small window in the room. Luckily, it was not a super hot day as there is no ac or fan in the room. We would definitely stay here again, perhaps when it cools down. Also, dedicated bike garage to lock up your bikes with charging area for batteries. Breakfast was very good. The town is beautiful- highly recommend a visit!

The location is beautiful and is just a short walk to the amazing and oldest operating monastery brewery in the world. Access, via walking, to river activities, hiking, eating/drinking, parking, etc. is great. By car, daily excursions to nearby castles, towns, and other worthy sites are just minutes away. The rooms are quite nice and the view of the river in the morning and the sunset in the evening are beautiful. The locals are friendly and fun to visit with over a cold one at the local Stammtisch. Of all the places we've visited so far in Bavaria, this has been our favorite (we've stayed here twice, so far...). We highly recommend Ferienwohnung zum Donaublick, a warm, welcoming, and relaxing place to be. Ciao!!!
