Casa Rural Higueralde can be easily reached through the N-1 Motorway. Casa Rural Higeralde was fantastic. We have been traveling for six weeks and this was one of the best places in which we have stayed. We enjoyed the view, the countryside and best of all the breakfast. The property had an apple orchard from which they made their own cider. We even enjoyed the steep walk up and down the hill to the town centre. The room was big with a delightful balcony. Secure parking for our bicycles.

The wine cellar can be seen from the hallways and the atmosphere is wonderful and wine-themed. Do not miss a walking tour of the grounds, with the ponds, chapel, and memorial sites for members of the winemaking owner family. Great food as well as wine. Breathtaking views of the whole valley.

Rooms at the Spirit Hotel Gran Bilbao feature colourful modern décor and wooden furniture. Each room has air conditioning and a large bathroom with a hairdryer. Superb room and shower, a stunning breakfast, super helpful staff who went above and beyond to get us good coffee and help clean baby bottles etc. The little play area for kids at breakfast was fantastic.

The hotel is located in an oasis just off the autoroute, next to a big shopping center, and a short drive from the coast. The attention to details at all levels is notable, rooms, beds, linens, in-room care products, space, friendliness of all staff. 5-star stay in a 3-star hotel. And super animal friendly! Spacious parking and large garden area around the hotel. Third time staying here. Next time in warmer weather so I can enjoy the surroundings more!
