Set in a quaint little town, this inn is right in the heart of it all. The rooms were perfectly cozy and comfortable, the staff incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommended!

The hotel boasts a garden with a pond, as well as an on-site bar and a restaurant. we had a very late check in (2:30am) and the staff ensured someone was up to greet us and let us in promptly

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. It offers stone walls and en suite bathrooms. Really enjoyed our stay with our cocker spaniel Willow. Very homely and comfortable. All staff excellent. Will definitely return.
