Set within the beautiful grounds of Highdown Gardens, Highdown Hotel is a former manor house offering luxury rooms and a restaurant. Guests can enjoy free WI-Fi access. Very comfortable room with excellent ensuite shower room. Serena and all the staff were friendly and welcoming and provided us with excellent service in the bar/restaurant during our stay. Breakfast and Dinner were delicious with plenty of Gluten Free options for my wife. The Hotel is also dog friendly and our pet Flora enjoyed the walks over the adjacent South Downs and could also join us for breakfast/dinner in the comfortable bar and also when we stopped for Tea/Coffee in The Hotels Tea Room. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 Night Stay in this well appointed well run historic property.

It is full of character and beautifully decorated to a high spec. It was perfect for our short stay and I’d definitely come back for longer next time when possible. Petworth is also a lovely place with a selection of interesting independent shops and cafes, as well as being a great base for walks in the area.

They were extremely accommodating and flexible with our check-in time when our flight times were adjusted along with being extremely hospitable and kind to us, ensuring we were cared for, fed, and that we got where we needed to go for different family events in the area. The accommodations were also lovely and very comfortable, with Chris and Sarah providing a variety of supplies as well as an immaculately clean and comfortable place to stay. We can't recommend it enough- for both the beautiful scenery in West Sussex and the value as a top-rate place to stay!

Excellent location to a wedding we were attending at Southend Barns. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful 2-bedroom house! The place was spotless and had a warm, welcoming feel as soon as we walked in. Both bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, with cosy beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed — from kitchen essentials to thoughtful little touches that made our stay easy and enjoyable. The location was great too — peaceful and convenient, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly - they even allowed for an earlier check in so that we had ample time to relax prior to our evening out! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommend this lovely home to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway!
