The location is great, by the see, you have stairs just across the apartment where you can take a swim. The apartment itself is clean, comfy. We went right before the season has begun so it was quiet and peaceful. Everything went smoothly on arrival, the owners are great, communication was easy.You have a bakery and supermarket just few meters from the apartment.

The apartment is super clean, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. A huge terrace overlooks the beach which is minutes way by foot. And so is everything else - grocery, restaurant, bar! But do not worry even with everything close by the nights here are peaceful and quiet! Our hosts greeted us with warmth and were super responsive. They really went out of their way to help us when we needed help! We would really love to come back next year! We highly recommend this place!

The location is just perfect! The view from the rooms is amazing. The house had everything that we needed. The allocated parking space made things easier as spaces are limited. The bay is beautiful and the water is very clean and calm. Perfect for swimming. Plenty of areas for diving. Host was very helpful.

It was centrally located on the island. Beautiful view of the sea. Pool area was wonderful for enjoying breakfast and watching the sunset. Enter apartment and pool was beautifully decorated and designed. Host was very respectful and responsive.

MLJET: This island is a secret gem, and we were astonished by it's beauty and serenity. Amazing flora and fauna, its turquise waters so clean you can see everything under, urlchins, slugs, fish, molluscs. The cicadas are the only sound you hear cutting trough the sounds of waves. Whatever you love in nature, you will find here. Mountains, beautifully preserved Mediterranean forests, beaches, the sea. The smell of aleppo pines, salt water and flowers blooming will follow you around. The island is bigger than we thought but only has about 5-600 permanent residents. We were very sad to hear that due to international and internal politics, most residents need 2-3 jobs to stay afloat. They would deserves so much more for the hard work they put in. Olive tree terraces, agaves, lizards, geckos.. amazing wildlife. OKUKLJE BAY and the locals: They left an impression we will never forget. We travelled to many countries and stayed with the locals wherever we could but not once experienced the helpful, lovely, welcoming attitude Nikki and the small community of just over 30 has shown us. You can access the whole of Mljet island from here but you will need to rent a car, scooter or bikes unless you want to go on very long walks up and down winding roads. The small bay/ village has only one road and several houses but offers a great variety of local and international food with 5 restaurants and 2 small local shops. If you want to to a bigger shopping spree, you would need to drive to the neighbouring place, where you can find a supermarket. We dined at Porto Della Vita, met Anton and his lovely father, who owns the restaurant. Food is amazing, locally sourced, fresh and cooked for you then and there. Hospitality is impeccable, prices fair and affordable. Definitely recommend. Fish, mussels, octopus on the menu is the daily cath, most ingredients locally grown and sourced.

Milo and his wife were realy friendly and welcoming,they had some realy interesting story about the life of the locals.The apartment was really tastefully decorated and furnished.The view from the balcony was magical,we saw the open sea.We will definitly return to this place,we had splendid time there.
