I hope we can come back one day, and I hope more people can have the option to enjoy and share Tetebatu with them.

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, full-day security and free WiFi. The bungalow was very clean and has everything you need. The bed comfortable, and has a mosquito net which is good considering it is a timber bungalow. The view was amazing, this is a great place to stay if you are wanting something quiet and in nature. Don’t come here expecting a touristy town. It is located in a village, which i really enjoyed exploring. There is waterfalls and rice fields. Also the black monkey forest is just up the road. The locals are very nice and helpful. You can hire scooter, but I didn’t, was able to easily explore just walking around. I ate at the bungalow for both breakfast and dinner, you can order through WhatsApp’s and there bring it to your balcony. DELICOUS. Breakfast was nice but the highlight was dinner (I had the egg curry!! Also tried the fried pineapple)

Super close to the sunset side of the island. Shower was great and provided organic toiletries. WiFi was great.

New, spacious, beautiful villas just a 3 minute walk from the beach. We originally had booked another hotel on Gili Air, but after one night decided to change due to noise from construction and rusty water filling the bath. Ari and his team welcomed us and had our villa ready within 30 minutes of booking. When staying on remote islands with limited infrastructure, I have found you typically have to temper expectations just a little, but this was not the case at Lasai. We were in villa 1, an absolutely beautiful room with cold AC, sparkling pool, soft and comfortable mattress, and plenty of hot water for a nice relaxing bath. The photos on the website don’t do it justice! Very well insulated so you can’t hear the Muslim prayers at 0400, and light blocking shades ensured a restful sleep. Daily breakfast was served in the villa and a filtered water cooler made our stay extra comfortable, and the mini bar had great wine and other soft drinks. No request was too much trouble and they always replied quickly via WhatsApp. Another review mentioned the ‘delicate’ robes. I wore the robe daily, it was SO comfy and soft, and very well made. This place will forever be our go-to on Gili Air!

The room was great, the location was peaceful, and the young guys offering their personal scooters and helping us find places to go was fantastic. It has been the best part of my travels in Indonesia so far.
