It seems like hotels think that people come all the way two distant islands to listen to loud tinned pop music) But if you get away to Shaheed Dweep (Neil) island, do seek out Vibes and Dives. I was only there one night, but it was the best night of my stay on the islands.

I’m a backpacking foreigner who is used to the simple times of years ago…way before the new expensive resorts popped up. E&4WM was so perfect: peaceful and simple accommodations hosted by a chill guy Shivankar who is tapped in to creating a great vibe….not to mention an amazing cook! I ate every meal from his kitchen. every dish and every coffee made with care and from ingredients grown at his farm. an interesting and nice collection of travelers fill the place for nice conversations. beach front adjacent to this place was dynamically different based on the tides. a wonderful solitude watching the sunset and listening to the various bird species settling in for the night. bring your own drinking vessel to fill with filtered water on site. high maintenance travelers search elsewhere;)
