My stay at Abhi’s exceeded my expectations and I was given a very warm welcome and shown to my room which was huge with big windows, cool fans and air conditioning which I rarely used as there was a nice cross breeze with the windows open. I liked that there were tea or coffee making facilities in my room and a small fridge. I felt very safe there and no request was ever too much. The cafe is lovely, very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfasts were the best homemade Indian breakfasts! Mani was always with a smile! Loved the homey feel of this place and the cafe was always very busy so word is out the food is fab! Cute little finches and sweet dogs as well! Can’t wait to return!

The hostels pretty new but you won't ever feel that, not because something's broken or unhinged but because the hosts are so good at handling everything and because everything you could possibly think of is already provided..makes it seem like they've been doing this for years. The hosts are super hospitable. The food's lovely. There's always some pretty music playing in the background so the ambience is well maintained. Just a 10/10, can't believe how much we lucked out finding about this place.

The wellcoming from Sajeev and Vijayan was fantastic. We had access to all of the amenities in the house and they provided us with great advice to really enjoy our stay in Varkala. Sharing breakfast with them was great time to talk and learn a bit more about the place and ways to reach our next destination. The level of service was outstanding and they really cared for us during our stay in Madhav Mansion. We would highly recommend it! From the food service to guard they have been the most humble and always with the best smile on their faces. The rooms are spacious and neat. Love and the best experience. My first trip to India and I can say I ended it in the best way.
