The accommodation features a hot tub, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. We liked everything although the cottage was a bit hard to find when we were arriving at night. Beautiful views from everywhere, one of our favourite stays. Clean and perfect for a small group.

Tjörn is a recently renovated guest house in Hvammstangi, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property features mountain and garden views. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We LOVED everything. The host, the house, the coziness, the position in front of the ocean, we could see an amazing show of northern nights. Olga, the host, is incredibly kind and nice; we had a last minute change of plans because of the weather and our northern lights chase and despite of the very short notice of our request she was so flexible and accommodating. The house is amazingly decorated, you really feel like home and honestly if we wouldn’t have had so less time during our trip, we would have loved to relax there some more days. Absolutely recommended!! 🩷

The location was excellent and the view of the lake was stunning. The suite was beautifully decorated. We appreciated the washing machine.

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. With a terrace, the property also features a shared lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen. If I could give more than 10, I would happily do it. It was a fantastic apartment. I was a bit hesitant about shared kitchen initially. But it was absolutely fine. It was huge and exceptionally clean, had loads of utensils and cooking equipment. A full size dishwasher. So they have set up the kitchen in a way that multiple people can cook same time. They also come every morning to clean and reset the kitchen. They also give free supplies like breads, tomato, butter, oils etc. Washing machine came in very handy as this was day 7 of our Iceland trip when we stayed in Birkilauf. Rooms are very nice, neat and clean. Bathroom also looks newly done up Location is very close to all main areas like Hverir geothermal, Hverfjall Volcano and Dimmuborgir and lake Myvatn. Overall everything was great. Highly recommend.

Grásteinn Guesthouse features a private beach area, garden, barbecue facilities and shared lounge in Þórshöfn. This guest house provides free private parking and luggage storage space. Guests can make use of outdoor furniture if they wish to dine or sit outside. Such a cute house and room! Room was big and bed was comfy. The husband and wife owning this guesthouse were absolutely wonderful! We recieved an amazing breakfast with homemade fresh bread. Got to say hi to the cute dogs of the farm as well. Would highly reccomend!

It actually feels like home. The owners are incredible people. It was our second stay and will be definitely coming back again

The views are stunning, and you have horses around walking freely 🥰 This please is like paradise. I would love to stay here at least 3-5 days, but we did ring circles, so we had to keep going. Wanderful please to relax and enjoy nature. The rooms are amazing .
