Many staff were also charming and genuine in their interactions with guests. The housekeeper was fantastic, what a delightful and endearing lady, like wise many of the restaurant staff added to the overall guest experience. Many of the guests had been visiting this hotel for years. All the guests we met were lovely people. There is a real loyalty towards this hotel from historic guests. We met one gentleman from Switzerland who has been visiting for 45 years. Most of the guests we met have been here several times. This is a true testament to the hotel, staff and management. Of course there is the location, fine food to mention but for us the highlight was the people.

The rooms at the Park Hotel offer lateral views of the mountains or views of the lake. Each room features tiled or marble floors and a TV. The en suite bathroom is complete with free toiletries and a hairdryer. The view from the room is amazing. Staff were extremely friendly and went out of their ways to help.

It is set 36 km from Borromean Islands and provides private check-in and check-out. The property is non-smoking and is located 17 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona. The suite was spotless, beautifully designed, and equipped with every detail needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, close to the lake that we were travelling to the next morning. Most importantly, the host was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive, making me feel truly welcomed.

The property has mountain and lake views, and is 10 km from Borromean Islands. The bed and breakfast also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Staff were wonderful before and during our stay. Good communication and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh and locally sourced where possible. A delightful, tranquil location interrupted only by chimes from the bells from the local church (stops at night!), birdsong and cuckoo calls. Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.

Located in Stresa, within 2.2 km of Borromean Islands, Garibaldi 26 is an accommodation offering inner courtyard views. Among the facilities at this property are a lift and a minimarket, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. This cosy 2-bedroom apartment was very comfortable, clean and secure. It had a fully-equipped kitchen, a washing machine and all the necessary conveniences for a longer stay. There is a lift, which is super convenient. The apartment is located right in the center with shops and eateries just outside the doorstep. The host was lovely too and very prompt in communication.
