This state was extremely modern, and the host was very flexible when we had travel delays. The location was great and very close to Malfa and all the restaurants as well as the beach!

Boasting sea views, a garden and a private pool, this bed and breakfast also features free WiFi. The accommodation offers free shuttle service and luggage storage space for guests. We had a perfect small house (bungalow) in the inner garden. Nice view to the sea and morning sunrise. Everything was available, small outside kitchen had everything needed for preparing a light meal. The place is hosted by a family; they were very helpful and friendly. Beware, local tap water is not drinkable, it can be used for cooking though. We had some bottles of fresh water waiting in the fridge, more can be bought from a local mini market. To reach the place, a slight uphill walk is required. Might be a problem if you have heavy bags, but well, this is a volcanic island, so it should be somewhat expected. Bathroom was clean, had the water all the time, no issues.

The rooms are elegant and fitted with antique wooden beds, or wrought-iron beds. All are provided with a satellite LCD TV and a fully equipped en suite bathroom. The suites are spacious and feature a living area, while all superior rooms offer a private terrace with panoramic views of the sea. I can think of nowhere nicer to stay on beautiful Salina, if you want comfort coupled with a special character. Conveniently , it is a short walk from the port, bus stops and other tourist facilities. The sea, with a pebble beach as well as steps directly into the water, is down a short flight of steps from the B&B. Breakfast is served on the enchanting roof terrace and is copious and varied. The terrace can be accessed at any time of day, if you just want to sit and read or watch the sea. In the evening go up and chat to Giuseppe, who manages the bar and enjoy his extensive play list, covering everything from the Beatles to Chopin. I was enchanted and would love to return.

Incredible staff, location - everything is perfect!

Boutique Hotel I Cinque Balconi is centrally located in Santa Marina Salina, with beautiful views across the Mediterranean Sea and the other Aeolian Islands. The surrounding area is full of shops and restaurants and is pedestrian only during summer. We absolutely loved our stay at i cinque balconi. Beautiful and thoughtful decor and the view from the room was stunning. The restaurant and bar downstairs were also lovely. We can’t wait to come back!

Featuring Aeolian-style architecture, Hotel Mamma Santina is set in several houses with terrace, balcony or patio. The resort offers views of Lipari, Panarea and Stromboli islands, and a free-form pool. The view is amazing, location is close to everything and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. Eleonora, the manager, arranged a pick-up for us from the port. She also booked us a day tour to Panarea and Stromboli. On our departure date, she offered to open breakfast early for us or even pack up a to go box for us which was incredibly thoughtful. Loved everything ❤️

Free private parking is available and the hotel also offers bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. We spent three wonderful nights at La Locanda des Postino. The staff was very welcoming, helpful and caring. The location, of course, is magnificent. The restaurant was excellent. We hope to come back soon!
