It is located a 10 minute drive from the centre of Ella but you can walk to town in 30 minutes and you get incredible views along the way. Because of it's location the homestay is surrounded by beautiful jungle and tea fields and is incredibly peaceful, lovely to come back to after a busy Ella. The rooftop seating area is a lovely place to relax after a hike. Breakfast is incredible, the room is spotlessly clean with a huge comfortable bed and a lovely en suite. There are so many thoughtful amenities including a hair dryer. Absolutely wonderful stay!

He help us to get good prices for Tuktuks, Laundry, Massages and Transport. Further he preperted really good breakfast, with new options every day.

I've stayed for 10 days at Homehostel and had an amazing experience! The location is great, very close to the city center(when you use the shortcut) but still calm and secluded. Incredible view of the tea plantations and the Buddhist monastery. Rooms are clean and very comfortable and the breakfast is actually pretty good. The best, though, was the host! Super chilled guy that stored my bags while I went hiking for days, took me to see his friends cooking massive amounts of curry for Poson Poya and also helped me fix my phone screen. Really grateful, brother! Hope to see you again someday 👍🤜
