The property is very nice and a very short walk to the beach. The room was comfortable and clean and there is a large rack for drying wet clothes and towels as well as several clotheslines on the property which was very helpful. The restaurant on site had great food and was very reasonably priced. Jey and all of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly! You will definitely feel well looked after. I would definitely stay here again!

Prashant is incredibly kind and helpful—his availability and hospitality made all the difference during our stay. What truly makes this place special is his amazing project to rescue stray dogs and cats, especially females. You’ll find many sweet animals around the property, and for us, that was the best part. It’s clear how proud Prashant is of what he’s doing, and we were proud to support him too. The guesthouse is just a 5-minute walk from the beach and about 15 minutes from Trincomalee—super convenient. The shower had hot water with great pressure, the room was clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. What else can I say? If you love animals, this is the place for you. Right next door you’ll find Mom’s Kitchen, their family restaurant—probably the best and most affordable food in Uppuveli. Don’t miss the Rice & Curry buffet!

The location is beautiful : you can easily walk everywhere you need, and the beach is just a short distance away. The place is very new, and the cabanas are clean, cozy and private. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. They always made sure we had everything we needed: even when we weren’t feeling well or had questions about the area. Their suggestions were always spot on( scuba diving) ! Breakfast was delicious, with several great options to choose from. They were so generous, always making sure we had enough food and drinks, even offering extras with a smile. What really stood out to us was the warmth of the people here. Nothing to put your luggage on in the room but I’m sure the owner will provide for everything in the future , the guesthouse is brand new and had just opened around the 1st of August . It’s located 10 mn from the beach . There are several little restaurants in the area. “ Seafood restaurant “ at the end of the street is a good one . The beach is natural , no club, no loud music , it’s beautiful you can find some mat to relax at the little restaurant on the beach .
