He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

Very clean and Roshan helped us arrange safari as well to the national park. Food was great and overall really good !

Secluded, overlooking paddy fields. Delicious and authentic Sri Lankan food. Ranil and his team undertook one of the largest study of Sloth Bears so they know a thing or two when it came to the safari. We spent a day ticking off the most wonderful array of wildlife. We were here as a family and couldn’t be more happy.

I wanted to extend for two more days and it was no problem at all. The safari that I booked through them was amazing and the transfer that they organized was perfect. Also the accomodation is located near the National parc, so its easy to have an early entrance. Besides the great Safari experience the Locatiin Overall is really Nice located in middle of Rice fields, if you love Naturen you should visit Green Saphire.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 36 km from Kada Panaha Tank. This stay was amazing from start to finish. When we arrived we were given tea and shown to our room straight away. We had time to chill out and have dinner at the stay. We then booked our 12 hour safari for the next morning through the stay for so cheap! The safari was amazing and our guide was so invested in allowing us to see as many animals as possible. Breakfast lunch and drink were also included in the price which was all amazing! When we arrived back to the stay we opted to have dinner again at our stay. This meal was one of the nicest and biggest meals I’ve had in all of my 5 month travel. It was 10/10. The staff were so accommodating and attentive. Anytime we left our room we were offered tea and coffee. The dogs were also a massive bonus felt so secure sitting out at night with them sitting at our feet. I could not recommend this stay anymore. Book here and make sure you book the safari through them! We got to see leopards! 🐆

There are many elephants which can be seen very close. Also buffalos and crocodiles.

Food was lovely. Sampath and his wife, Ajanta, were the perfect hosts and so helpful. He organised our safari, helped us with a visit to the doctor, took us fishing at the nearby lake and his son came to do a karaoke one night. All very enjoyable and loved Wilpattu NP. An unforgettable experience. My kids loved the frogs!
