Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Shardul and Ankita (and others as well) were very helpful and friendly. Then you can repeat :-) The hosts will help you with everything you want.

Pappu and his family were wonderful hosts, they were very attentive and cooked fresh, organic and delicious food! Pappu is also a very special guide: he could spot multiple animals that my eye couldn't see at first, among which even a tiger!!! But also several species of deer (swamp deer 😍), otters, and paradise flycatchers were an amazing sighting and we were lucky enough even to see a rhino! I miss the wonders of Bardiya... Thank you Pappu dai for your hospitality and guidance!!

Namaste Bardiya Resort is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Bhurkīā, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. This bed and breakfast features free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the river and garden. The experience in Bardia was great thanks to the staff on Namaste Bardiya Resort. The activities they proposed are perfect: we did jungle walks and Jeep safari and slept in the tree house. Every activity was different and I would totally reccomend them all: the jungle walk is to feel more connected to the nature, with the jeep safari is possible to cover more ground and rush to see the animals when they are spotted somewhere in the park and the tree house is a wonderful experience to sleep in the jungle. We saw a lot of animals including the big ones: a tiger, a herd of elephants and multiple rhinos. This was possible thanks to the knowledge of our guide (also our host) Krishna. The resort is very nice and confortable, Krishna's family super nice and the rest of the staff too. The food is always cooked fresh and delicious. Plus, the place is very close to the entrance of the park and right in front of the river (where we were swimming to chill a bit) so sometimes is possible to spot animals even from the resort (even inside, deers crossed the property and even a monkey was sitting on our room porch). The rooms are simple with everything you need.

Bardia Wildlife Resort features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bhurkīā. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. We have visited Bardia National Park 4 times. There are a lot of lodges and resorts, and they all offer pretty much the same things. But Bardia Wildlife Resort TRULY stood out. We stayed in a newly renovated room with air conditioning, good wifi, excellent meals. We took all our meals in the beautiful garden. We were surprised to see pizza and lasagna on the menu! And even more surprised when it really WAS pizza and lasagna! A welcome change from the usual Nepali food. The personal attention was incredible! Hira, the owner, took my wife into town to a fabric store where they made her two comfortable dresses for 1700 rupees, about 14 USD. I work in health care, and they arranged a visit to a local clinic, as well as the usual jeep and walking trips into the park.
Bardia
Set in Bardia, Jungle Base Camp offers accommodation with seating area. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the river and garden. Hukum, the owner and guide, worked so hard to make sure I had a good time. His wife provides the meals, which were excellent and organic (many of the items are from his own garden). He helped me plan an itinerary for my time there. His prices were reasonable for the excursions. I saw a tiger and elephant in the wild as well as many other species of birds and animals. Although it's significantly more expensive than the other day trips, I would recommend the rafting. It was peaceful and a unique way to see Bardiya.

Everything was brilliant, from the guided hikes to the help to sort bus travel and more. On the hikes my guide Mahendra went way above what any of the others did to try and spot wildlife but in a eco friendly way. The owner and his wife were very kind and treated me like part of the family.
To visit here also take the bus from Kathmandu, it’s an adventure in itself.

We had a fabulous stay at Bardia Eco-Lodge. The rooms and gardens are lovely. This is a true rustic eco-lodge blending beautifully with the natural surroundings. The lodge is walking distance to both the Elephant Breeding Centre and the main entrance of Bardia National Park. Our host Madhu, is a certified safari guide and we enjoyed an exceptional day on private jeep safari with him and a driver seeing a tiger, rhinos, many deer and monkeys.

The location was ideal, staff were wonderfully attentive and knowledgeable - providing me with a fantastic three night stay.
What stood most out was the highly personal vibe from the owner and the entire staff. The location and rooms tick all the boxes for a lovely stay, a beautifull flower garden, super clean and really great food!!
Property is in vey good location. Front of jungle..owner and his family was very friendly. Stay was completely like home and we can cook the food also.
Great location very near National Park Entrance. Most memorable was meeting the loveliest people, staff and owners, you could hope to meet. Did everything they could to give us, an elderly couple - a great stay. Good safari - forest trek and evening outing. Unbelievable value for money. Unreservedly recommend for a no frills stay that will stick in your memory
Bardia Eco Friendly homestay is in a beautiful location, the family is super friendly and the tours they host are great. The room is very clean and comfortable and the meals ars very tasty! Would definitely come back.
Great stay here! Baba and all the rest of the crew are wonderful. The place is very nice, clean and amazing location. Also, Baba and his brothers are the best guides !!
The location: safe, quiet and away from the crowds. The village is a 20 minutes walk The price was brilliant, I felt very fortunate to have found and been able to stay at this place. The food was good too. I was also fortunate to get the entire dorm room to myself Anil was around to help with everything and I enjoyed my Safari walk. Ask for a hot water bucket if needed for the shower Thank you!
Overall the location & the stay were good. What made it exceptional was the family which took care of the guests. They made sure that everyone was comfortable & also helped us with local currency which was a great help. We liked the breakfast especially the pancakes made by Suchitra. We enjoyed the jungle safari for a full day, Shardul was good with jungle routes & animal spotting skills, our bad luck we didn't see a tiger. We will go back for it again in March or April.
Staff were amazing Property simple but met all my needs. Superb location close to entrance to Bardia National Park. Staff at the lodge were very helpful, lodge comfortable and food good. The activities (the reason you go to a venue like this) were outstanding. Our guide saw to our every need, and we were able to see a magnificent range of birds and animals. They appreciated what we wanted to see and tried extra hard to allow us these opportunities.
